Jamillah Byrd
Jamillah M.
Byrd is one of Philadelphia’s talented and ambitious hair
stylists. Jamillah attended Bok Technical High School where she
was first educated on the precisions of hairstyling. While
attending Bok, Jamillah had an opportunity to work as a shampoo
assistant at Upper Darby’s Total Control. Through hands on
experience, Jamillah was able to advance her skills and trained
under two cosmetology specialists. Jamillah completed her
training at Bok, excelling in her classes and graduating from
Bok with a license in cosmetology.
After
graduation, Jamillah moved to Chicago, Illinois to further her
studies at Dudley’s Cosmetology University. Jamillah completed
DCU’s with a certification in Advanced Color, Cuts and Styling.
Jamillah
returned to Philadelphia where she began her career as a
Certified Hair Technician. She worked long hours perfecting her
craft in cutting, coloring and styling.
Jamillahs’
hair styles have been featured in some of the top magazines
Black Passion, Mazza and in 2000 Jamillah’s creation landed her
on the front cover of the Solid Gold Magazine.
In 2004,
Jamillah made the plunge, moving to open Total Control II with
her friend and partner Angelina Geiger. Jamillah’s optimum goal
is to bring out the good in people. She believes when you look
good, you feel good!!! |
Angelina Geiger
Angelina
Geiger is artistic, determined and creative hairstylist and the
co owner of Total Control II. Angelina began honing her
hairstyling skills, attending the Bok Technical High School,
where she learned the fundamentals of cosmetology. Upon
graduation, she was awarded a certification in Cosmetology.
Angelina has worked in the cosmetology industry for over 10
years. Angelina also, attended the prestigious Dudley’s
Cosmetology University in Greensboro, North Carolina where she
received advanced training in hair care, styling, and operating
business skills.
Angelina’s
hair styles have been featured in Solid Gold and Mazza
magazines. She finds pleasure in attending and participating in
photo shoots and hair shows.
Angelina puts
her best in every style no matter if it’s a cut, an afusion, a
weave, braids or exploding creation. HAIR CARE is Angelina’s #1
goal.
No matter if
you’re a mom, teacher, lawyer, doctor, model or child Angelina’s
goal is to make you look fierce, funky and fabulous forever…
